Criminal defense attorney Brett W. Bureau obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting from Marquette University in 2021. Attorney Bureau would then earn his MBA from Marquette the following year. With a lifelong desire to focus on criminal law, he continued his education at Marquette University Law School, graduating in 2023. While in law school, he interned for the State Public Defender’s Office and for Wisconsin Appellate Judge Shelley Grogan. Attorney Bureau is a certified negotiator, mediator, and arbitrator. He attained his certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution and helped run Marquette Law School’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic.
Attorney Bureau’s entire practice is devoted to defending the rights of the accused. He is passionate about protecting individuals against government overreach, upholding the Constitution, and fighting injustice. Brett lives in Milwaukee and enjoys traveling, playing tennis and listening to all types of music. He relaxes by watching documentaries and helping raise his family’s Golden Retriever puppy.
